The U.S. Department of State's Office of Consular Affairs and Yes& Agency tasked Mirada Studios with inspiring travelers to renew their passports early—in a manner both memorable and adorable. The team created three lovable characters: Hedgie, the energetic Gen Z traveler; Button, the multitasking parent; and Torty, the seasoned globetrotter—each designed to feel like a cozy, plush companion. Bringing them to life meant capturing their expressive moments while layering in subtle details to make them feel real. Through collaboration and creativity, Mirada's work reminds travelers everywhere that the world is waiting; all that's required is a valid passport.
